Jose Tabata (quad) did a light on-field workout Monday afternoon and reported no problems. Tabata will continue to work out with his Pirates teammates all week before potentially resuming his minor league rehab assignment on Saturday or Sunday. The outfielder has been on the disabled list since late June with a left quad strain and has already experienced one major setback.
