Jordan Bastian of MLB.com believes that Carlos Carrasco is the favorite to win the fifth and final spot in the Indians rotation out of spring training. His primary competition for that job will come from Shaun Marcum and Trevor Bauer. Indians skipper Terry Francona has spoken fondly of the 26-year-old this winter, and he's out of minor league options, so it would appear that he's a lock to break camp with the Tribe. That could conceivably be in the bullpen though if Marcum can prove his health, or Bauer can display solid command of the strike zone.
