Jones went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a 5-2 loss at the hands of the Red Sox on Monday.

The homer came in the bottom of the eighth with the orioles down 5-1, but was not enough as Rick Porcello went the distance. It was Jones' 28th homer of the year, surpassing the 27 he hit last season. Yet Jones has hit just 19 doubles in 2016 for a slugging percentage of .454, a level of power production he has not dipped to since 2010.
