Jones was removed from Tuesday's game in the top of the seventh inning, Eduardo A. Encina of the Baltimore Sun reports.

Joey Rickard moved over to center field to replace Jones, allowing Nolan Reimold to enter the game in left. The Orioles have not yet provided a reason for Jones' exit, but he has battled a rib injury in the early going this season, and may have aggravated the issue with a big swing in the bottom of the sixth.
