Jones is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Angels, Juan C. Rodriguez of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Even with the DH option available to him in Anaheim, manager Mike Redmond will not budge from his stance of sitting Jones against opposing lefties. It's certainly understandable, given Jones' .203/.261/.250 batting line against southpaws this season. Jeff Baker will man first base and bat second against Hector Santiago.
