Jones is not in the lineup Friday against the Red Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports. Jones has been an iron man all season, starting all but two of the team's 152 games to this point, but he'll get what looks like a well-deserved day off Friday after the O's clinched the AL East title earlier in the week. Manager Buck Showalter can afford to rest his regulars over the final week, but it seems likely Jones will continue playing regularly to stay sharp for the postseason.
