Jonathan Sanchez (biceps) threw another successful bullpen session Saturday. Giants manager Bruce Bochy said that Sanchez feels good and will throw to live hitters in San Diego on Wednesday before heading out on a minor leaue rehab assignment. There is no reason for the Giants to rush the left-hander back, especially with Barry Zito pitching well in his absence.
