Jonathan Sanchez (ankle) has yet to throw off a mound while he rehabs his ankle in Arizona. It essentially means his season is over, which has been likely for a while now, anyway. Sanchez has been sidelined since August 16 with a left ankle injury and will end the season with a 4.26 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 19 starts.
