Jon Singleton has been working with hitting coach John Mallee on shortening his swing. Mallee said the results so far have been "absolutely amazing" and Singleton just has to trust his new swing in game action. "I'm trying to get better each and every day," Singleton said. "I'm trying to make small adjustments and trying to adjust to what they throw me and stuff like that and trying to time the ball better. Nothing too major. Just daily adjustments." Singleton has homered seven times but is batting just .178 in 163 at-bats with the big club.
