Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that the Blue Jays are interested in Marlins right-hander Josh Johnson. The Blue Jays are also interested in Hanley Ramirez, but they are more motivated to acquire Johnson because of their need for starting pitching. The 28-year-old is quickly emerging as a popular trade target after the Marlins opened shop on Monday by dealing Anibal Sanchez and Omar Infante to the Tigers. However, Scott Miller of CBSSports.com reported on Monday night that the Marlins would prefer to him. Johnson 28, has a 4.14 ERA and a 105/35 K/BB ratio in 119 2/3 innings this season and is under contract for $13.75 million in 2013.
