Jon Heyman of SI.com was told by one agent that David Ortiz could get $16 million through arbitration. Ortiz, a Type A free agent, was offered arbitration on Wednesday. He could accept if he can't find multi-year offer by December 7, but Heyman suggests that a two-year contract worth between $25-28 million seems reasonable for both Ortiz and Boston.
