Jon Heyman of SI.com reports that the Red Sox are "pretty confident" they'll be able to re-sign David Ortiz on a two-year deal if he doesn't accept arbitration. Despite drawing interest from the Blue Jays and Orioles, Big Papi has never seemed very likely to leave Boston. He could get around $16 million through arbitration or will likely receive a little over $20 million on a two-year pact. The 36-year-old batted .309/.398/.554 with 29 home runs and 96 RBI in 146 games as Boston's DH in 2011.
