Jon Heyman of SI.com reports that the Nationals have identified C.J. Wilson as their top target and are "going to push" for him. Most expect the Nationals to make at least one free agent splash this offseason, and it appears that it might come in the form of Wilson. They appear dead set on adding a left-handed starter, and although they've also been linked to Mark Buehrle, it looks like Wilson is higher on their priority list. It's likely going to take around $100 million to land the southpaw.
