Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that Joey Votto's contract extension with the Reds will be worth "almost exactly" $200 million over 10 years. Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com is hearing the same thing. The deal is expected to include the two years and $26.5 million remaining on the extension he signed with the Reds last offseason. This means the new agreement is worth $173 million over eight years. Once complete, Votto will be signed through 2021 and his age-38 season.
