Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports that A.J. Pierzynski's deal with the Rangers is worth $7.5 million. Pierzynski gets a $1.5 million raise from his 2012 salary, but it's a little surprising he ended up having to settle for a one-year deal after blasting a career-high 27 home runs. That number is sure to come down in 2013, but he lands in a good fantasy situation with the Rangers. Pierzynski will take a physical Friday in order to make the deal official.
