Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports that the Mariners have reached a one-year, $1 million deal with John Buck. FOX Sports' Jon Morosi was the first to report that an agreement was close. Buck is expected to serve as Mike Zunino's backup catcher this year in Seattle and can provide a bit of pop off the bench. The 33-year-old has averaged 22 home runs per 162 games since the beginning of the 2010 season.
