The Miami Marlins placed infielder Jon Berti (groin) on the injured list with a left groin strain on Friday and reinstated outfielder Jorge Soler (pelvis) from the injured list in a corresponding move. The Marlins also optioned Daniel Castano to the minors and recalled pitcher Cody Poteet. Berti suffered a mild groin strain in Thursday's game, but he'll head to the IL before next week's All-Star break.
