EDGE Analysis
The soon-to-be 35-year-old signed a minors deal with the Astros in February, but he was released shortly after spring training was suspended a month later. Hughes split 2019 between Cincinnati and Philadelphia and had a 4.04 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 54:27 K:BB across 71.1 frames while recording seven holds. He figures to work in middle relief for the Mets.
