Johnson will remain the Braves' closer for the time being despite the return of Arodys Vizcaino, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vizcaino was working as the closer when he was injured in mid-July, but Johnson shined in his absence, so he will hang onto his ninth-inning duties even though Vizcaino is healthy and back on the big-league roster. It's no lock that Johnson hangs onto the closer's role the rest of the way, but he has tossed nine consecutive scoreless innings, and his job security should only improve as long as he continues having success.
