Johnny Damon launched a three-run home run, helping to lead the Indians to a 7-2 victory over the Orioles on Thursday. The mammoth blast off Wei-Yin Chen in the second inning put the Tribe on the board, and provided more than enough support for Zach McAllister and the Indians bullpen. After getting off to a maddeningly slow start, Damon has picked it up a bit as of late, hitting .345 (10-for-29) with two homers and seven RBI over his last nine games. It was his only hit in three trips on the night, and he now sits 247 shy of the hallowed 3000.
