John Lott of the National Post reports that the Blue Jays plan to trade DFA'd OF Juan Rivera. Lott adds that the Jays have already received several inquires, so it sounds like Rivera will get dealt in the coming days. The 33-year-old outfielder has batted just .176 since June 16, and could do for a change of scenery. Look for an outfielder needy team like Boston to be among those interested.
