John Fay of the Cincinnati Enquirer expects Joey Votto (knee) to be activated from the disabled list Monday. There had been whispers that he could be activated as soon as Saturday, but the Reds evidently would like him to get in a couple more rehab games. It's probably wise, as Votto has admitted that he's still not running at 100 percent and has yet to test out his twice-repaired knee sliding. The Reds open a nine-game homestand on Monday.
