John Danks (shoulder) has already had two throwing sessions. Danks wasn't supposed to resume throwing until Thursday, but the White Sox decided to push up the timetable a bit. He made 20 throws from 45 feet and 15 tosses from 60 feet Monday before bumping up his reps a bit Wednesday. "We did it so my schedule is lined up to throw off a mound after Jan. 1," Danks said. "So far, so good. It feels like I haven't thrown in a while, but it's a positive step." The lefty added that he was checked out by doctors last week, and they were "very pleased" with his progress from arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Barring a setback, he should be on a pretty normal routine in spring training.
