John Buck blasted a three-run homer in the ninth inning against the Mets on Saturday, but it wasn't quite enough to lead his team to victory.

The three-run bomb was his only hit in four at-bats on the afternoon. Jon Rauch took over for R.A. Dickey after he'd allowed the first two runners to reach in the ninth, and Buck welcomed him with a towering drive over the left field wall. He's having an awful season offensively, hitting just .201/.308/.362 with 12 homers and 41 RBI, and has recently been losing the majority of his playing time to rookie Rob Brantly.
