Johan Santana (shoulder) did some light tossing from a mound Sunday. Santana wasn't throwing at full intensity, and the catcher was set up in front of the plate, so it wasn't close to a full bullpen session. Still, it's a notable development after GM Sandy Alderson said Saturday that the left-hander was 10 days away from mound work. Santana insists that he'll be ready to pitch on Opening Day, but it's still up in the air.
