The Miami Marlins and third baseman Joey Wendle have settled on a contract, avoiding arbitration. The 31-year-old will have a salary of $4.55 million for the 2022 season. Additionally, if the club passes on his option for 2023, he will make another $75K. Wendle is off to a nice start to his Marlins career. Over 12 games this year, he's slashing .314/.368/.400 with three doubles, four RBI and four runs scored.
