Joey Votto went 2-for-4 and hit his 12th homer in the Reds' victory Monday. Votto has cooled of late -- he was hitting .236 with one home run in June -- so the nice game tonight was welcome. Maybe he just needed to see the Pirates: he's a lifetime .338 hitter with more walks (55) than strikeouts (53) against Pittsburgh.
