Joey Votto (quadriceps) expects to be activated from the 15-day disabled list when first eligible. Votto was placed on the DL retroactive to May 16, so he can return next Saturday (May 31). He told reporters this weekend that he has already made considerable progress from his distal left quadriceps strain.
