Joey Votto (quad) is aiming to return to the Reds' starting lineup this weekend versus the Cardinals. Votto will remain sidelined through the final two games of the Reds' three-game set in Washington, D.C. But the good news is that he is going to avoid a 15-day disabled list stint. Votto has been out since late last week because of a distal left quadriceps strain.
