Joey Votto homered in game two of Cincinnati's doubleheader with the Marlins on Wednesday, leading the Reds to a 3-2 victory and split of the twin-bill in Miami. Votto finished his day 5-for-7 with two bombs and four RBI, upping his triple slash from .322/.437/.536 to .328/.441/.551 in the process. Votto would be getting a lot more MVP buzz had the Reds not been out of the race in the National League Central since before the All-Star break.
