Baltimore Orioles outfielder Joey Rickard has been optioned to Triple-A Norfolk in order to make room for Adam Jones' return from the bereavement list. Rickard had a solid season up to date for the Orioles, hitting with a .221/.284/.416 slash with 22 R, seven HR, and 21 RBI in 58 games. Rickard should not be owned in any fantasy formats even if he returns to the Orioles lineup, due to his low batting average.
