San Francisco Giants catcher Joey Bart (back) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Sacramento. Bart developed a mid-back strain prior to the start of the regular season and was placed on the 10-day injured list back on April 2. Roberto Perez, one of the Giants' other catching options, strained his rotator cuff on April 7 and was placed on the 60-day injured list so San Francisco would like Bart back as soon as possible.
