Joel Pineiro has been moved to the bullpen. The in-contention Angels couldn't put up with Pineiro's struggles any longer. The right-hander posted a 5.31 ERA and 1.59 WHIP over 18 starts this season. He'll likely be used as a long reliever and mop-up man. Anaheim will name a replacement this weekend.
