Hanrahan's initial timetable after undergoing Tommy John and flexor tendon surgery in mid-May was as long as 16 months, but MassLive.com's Evan Drellich says the reliever is "well ahead of schedule." A free agent this winter, Hanrahan will probably look for an incentive-laden, one-year deal as he attempts to rebuild his value.
