Joe Saunders lost his Mariners debut after allowing four runs in four innings Wednesday against the A's. Saunders walked four and threw just 48 of his 88 pitches for strikes, so he obviously wasn't on top of his game tonight. Considering that he wasn't any good in spring training either, it's worth wondering if he might be covering up an injury of some sort.
