Joe Saunders is a non-tender candidate. Saunders earned $5.5 million this year via salary arbitration and is due a raise heading into 2012. He posted a 3.69 ERA in 33 starts and the D'Backs would certainly like to keep him in their starting rotation, but the 30-year-old lefty may have priced himself out of Arizona's range.
