Joe Saunders held the Royals to two runs on six hits in seven innings of work on Tuesday evening in a 7-2 win. He struck out three and walked three in improving to 4-7. Saunders has managed to complete seven innings of work in consecutive starts after having done so just twice prior to that. Now the owner of a 4.35 ERA and 1.46 WHIP, he'll take on the Tigers on Sunday.
