Joe Mauer will not rejoin the Twins until Tuesday. Mauer left the team earlier this week in order to be present for the birth of his twins, so he has decided to take some extra time. Players are only allowed to be on the paternity leave list for three days, so he'll be moved to the restricted list on Saturday and will not be paid for the final two games of the weekend series.
