Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer (concussion) continues to make progress as he works his way back from a concussion. He was spotted working out on the field ahead of Tuesday's game two days after taking batting practice and fielding grounders. Mauer has been on the disabled list since the middle of May and was temporarily shut down last week after his concussion symptoms returned. The veteran is hitting .283 with one homer, 18 runs, and 11 RBI in 38 games this season.
