Joe Mauer remained lukewarm at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two walks in Wednesday's extra-inning win over the Rays. Mauer moved from catcher to first base over the off-season, but in doing so, he has to be more productive with the bat. He's yet to catch fire, slashing .256/.365/.317 in 96 plate appearances. Mauer slugged .476 last season, so the potential is certainly still there.
