Joe Mauer left Tuesday's game against the Royals with a right oblique strain. Mauer had an RBI double in one of his three plate appearances before exiting, extending his hitting streak to 12 games. The Twins will re-evaluate him on Wednesday, but it's obviously an injury that requires a disabled list stint most of the time.
