Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer (concussion) reportedly isn't close to being cleared for game action. Sadly, Mauer's concussion symptoms returned last week, but he resumed workouts this week without any issues yet. The Twins have not announced a timetable for Mauer and he'll still need to go on a rehab assignment before returning to the Twins. Fantasy owners can go ahead and drop Mauer for another bat. He doesn't have enough upside through holding onto through the injury.
