Minnesota Twins first baseman Joe Mauer (concussion) went 0-for-3 on Tuesday in his first rehab game with Triple-A Rochester. The veteran served as Rochester's designated hitter on Tuesday and is expected to play a full nine innings at first base on Wednesday. Mauer has been on the disabled list since mid-May with a concussion but should be nearing activation. The former AL MVP is batting .283 with one homer, 18 runs, and 11 RBI in 38 games.
