Joe Kelly turned in a solid performance in his second start for the Cardinals on Saturday, limiting the Royals to two runs on seven hits over 4 1/3 innings of work. He struck out three and walked one. Kelly allowed single runs in the first and fourth innings, and then pitched into a bases-loaded jam before being removed in the fifth. Through two starts he owns a 2.89 ERA and 7/2 K/BB ratio over 9 1/3 innings. He'll take on these same Royals again in Kansas City on Friday, and could be worth a look in some deeper fantasy leagues.
