Chicago White Sox relief pitcher Joe Kelly (groin) was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday with a right groin strain. The move was made retroactive to April 9. Kelly has made three appearances this season, going 0-1 with a bloated 10.13 ERA. Pitcher Keynan Middleton's contract was selected from Triple-A Charlotte and right-hander Jonathan Stiever was outrighted to Charlotte in corresponding moves.
