Joe Beimel (elbow) tossed a scoreless inning while striking out a pair in a rehab appearance for High-A Bradenton Friday. Beimel has been out since late May with inflammation in his pitching elbow. Assuming he doesn't have any setbacks, he should be ready to return sometime before the All-Star break.
