Joe Beimel (elbow) is expected to face live hitters Saturday. Beimel was shut down for a few days last week while dealing with some tightness in his pitching elbow, but he's felt fine the last couple days and doesn't think it will be an issue going forward. The veteran southpaw is trying to win a roster spot as a non-roster invitee.
