Miami Marlins outfielder JJ Bleday has been traded to the Oakland Athletics on Saturday. In exchange, the Marlins will receive left-hander A.J. Puk from Oakland. Bleday was unlikely to have a significant role in Miami. He hit .167/.277/.309 with five homers and four steals with the Marlins last season.
