Jimmy Rollins hit a solo homer, drew a walk, and scored two runs Friday night against the Reds. It was his seventh home run of the season and his first since May 20. Rollins got off to a great start this season, but his average has tumbled 28 points (from .276 to .248) over his last 14 games. On the bright side, he continues to show surprising patience. The 35-year-old has already walked 33 times in 56 games. He has never walked more than 62 times in a season during his career.
