Jimmy Rollins' agent, Dan Lozano, has told the Phillies that he is having dialogue with a second unidentified team, according to Jayson Stark of ESPN.com. The Brewers and Cardinals are off the board as alternatives, so Rollins is hurting for leverage in talks with the Phillies. For what it's worth, Stark was told that other clubs believe the Tigers have interest, though it's not known whether they are aggressively pursuing him. We expect that the veteran shortstop will eventually have to come down from his demands of a five-year deal, perhaps settling for a three-year contract with an option for a fourth year.
